SHELBY • CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Terms of service
Updated 20 September 2026
These terms explain shopping with Shelby, including orders, personalisation, delivery and aftercare. Read them with our returns and privacy policies before placing an order.
1. Contact & scope
This store trades as Shelby. Our contact address is 1169 Cobham Street, Queenswood, Pretoria, 0186, South Africa. For orders or questions about these terms, email info@tungsten-rings.co.za or contact us on 064 653 1986. Please arrange returns with us before sending a parcel. These terms apply to purchases through our website. Nothing here excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Choosing your piece
Read the description, available sizes, materials and personalisation options for your chosen item. Photographs show the design; screen settings, lighting and natural inlay variations can affect appearance. Such variations do not excuse goods that differ materially from their description. The ring size guide and digital sizer are guidance tools: accurate calibration and measurement matter. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
3. Prices & payment
Prices are shown in South African rand. The selected options, any engraving charge, delivery charge and applicable taxes are shown in your order total before payment. Use a payment method offered at checkout and check the total before submitting. Do not send card details by email or WhatsApp. Payment authorisation and availability must be confirmed before an order can be fulfilled.
4. Orders & availability
Check your items, size, engraving, contact details and delivery address before placing your order. An automatic order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your request; we will contact you if there is an availability, payment or material pricing problem. We will not substitute a product or increase a confirmed total without your agreement. If we cannot supply an item you paid for, we will explain the options and refund amounts due if you do not agree to an alternative.
5. Engraving & custom orders
Engraving is optional where offered. The product page shows its price and character limit. Check every character and your selected lettering carefully; the on-screen preview illustrates the text and is not an exact promise of physical placement or scale. We engrave the wording submitted with the order. Contact us promptly about changes. Clearly personalised or made-to-specification goods are generally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation, but your rights concerning faults or incorrect fulfilment remain.
6. Delivery
We currently deliver within South Africa. In-stock rings generally take 3–5 working days; custom or personalised lead times may differ and will be communicated. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed appointment times. The delivery charge is shown before payment. Give a complete address and reachable contact details, and tell us promptly about a delivery problem. See Delivery & returns for more information.
7. Returns & warranty
Our change-of-mind return and exchange period is 30 days after delivery. Shelby rings have a 24-month manufacturing-defect warranty. Conditions, personalised-item exclusions, return arrangements and statutory remedies are explained in our Returns & warranty policy, which forms part of these terms. A statutory right to a refund is not limited to store credit.
8. Accounts & responsible use
Provide accurate information, keep account credentials private and notify us if you suspect unauthorised use. Only place an order if you can legally enter into the transaction or have the necessary assistance or authority. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security, submit unlawful content or use another person’s payment details without permission.
9. Privacy & website content
Our Privacy policy explains how customer information is handled. The website’s branding, original photography, designs and written content belong to Shelby or their respective owners. You may browse and retain information for your own shopping use; commercial reuse requires the appropriate permission.
10. Problems, disputes & changes
Contact us first with your order number and the outcome you are seeking so we can try to resolve a problem. South African law applies. You remain entitled to approach an appropriate consumer body, regulator or court. We do not exclude liability or remedies that the law makes mandatory. Updated terms apply prospectively; a later revision will not retrospectively reduce the rights attached to an existing order.
